DUCATI Hypermotard Review

Ducati has launched a Hypermotard, it is a good looking, agile and fast moving motorcycle. This motorcycle gives you a sports riding experience, the advanced electronic features are implemented in this bike. The all new hypermotard offers a latest design with a stunning look and dirt bike inspired look. The design of the Supermotard bike is light weight precision and agility of re-define power and characteristic. It has been designed for the perfect balance, extremely enjoyable riding experience, ultimate un-burnt fuel and it provides you with an excellent performance. The fuel tank has been designed and increases the capacity of the motorcycle. There are three riding modes available in the bike; they are Race, Sports and Wet. The race riding mode produces the 110hp of direct responsive from the RBW acceleration.

The sport riding produces the 110hp of progressive responsive from the RBW acceleration. The Wet riding mode produces gradual responsive from the RBW acceleration. Multifunction digital dashboard with white backlight composed of LCD segments for rev counter and a Dot-Matrix area. The odometer, speedometer, clock, selected riding mode, air temperature, coolant temperature,  average fuel consumption, average speed, errors detection (diagnosis), trip time, maintenance intervals indicator (Km), setup menu and customization function. Interface for the management of riding mode. Lights displays oil pressure, fuel warning neutral N, EOBD , turn signal, Headlight control of auto switching-off during engine start and auto turning-off after 60 seconds from Key-On without starting the engine and hazard lights.

The special key features of the Ducati Safety Pack of Anti lock braking system(Bosch-Brembo braking system) and Ducati traction control, Aluminum tapered handlebars, Ride-by-Wire system, APTC clutch, Carbon fibre, Front mudguard and Cam-belt covers.

It comes with a four valves, Testastretta 11° L twin cylinder, desmodromic, and liquid cooled engine with a displacement of 821cc, the maximum power of 81kW (110 hp) @ 9250rpm and torque of 89 Nm (65.8 lb-ft) @ 7750 rpm. The common compression ratio is of 12:8:1, the fuel injection is of electronic fuel injection system and a throttle bodies with full Ride by Wire system. The exhaust system is Single stainless steel muffler with catalytic converter and two lambda probes. The six speed transmission of gear box which control the flow of the engine. The primary drive is straight cut gears and with a ratio of 1.85:1, the final drive front sprocket 15 and rear sprocket 45. The clutch is of Slipper and self-servo wet multi-plate clutch mechanically operated. The frame of the engine is made up of tubular steel Trellis frame.

The front suspension is Marzocchi 50 mm pressurized and fully adjustable usd fork with hard anodized aluminium lightweight slider and the rear suspension is Progressive linkage with fully adjustable Ohlins monoshock and aluminium single sided swingarm. The front wheel has a three-spoke in forged light alloy 3.50×17 and wheel travel is 185 mm (7.3 in), and the rear wheel is three-spoke forged light alloy 5.50×17 and wheel travel is 175 mm (6.9 in). The front tyre is made up of Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP 120/70 ZR17, and the rear tyre Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP 180/55 ZR17. The braking system is of anti lock braking system, the front brake is semi-floating discs is radially mounted Monobloc Brembo calipers of four-piston two-pad axial pump with adjustable lever and ABS 9MP as standard and diameter of 320mm, the rear brake is two-piston caliper ABS 9MP as standard with a diameter of 245mm. the capacity of fuel tank is 16 liters.
